Our Collection. With their distinct oriental patterns, our precious rugs and carpets bring warmth, splendour and radiance to interiors, enabling their owners to express their sensibility and aesthetic tastes. 

Their Making. Hand-knotted by means of the Turkish double-knot or the Persian knot techniques, most of our pieces have 1,250,000 knots per square metre (10.8 sq.ft.). The artisans are located in Zhenping, a city located in Henan, China. Such a significant knot density requires much meticulousness but ensures the longevity of those rugs and carpets, as well as the neatness of their patterns and motifs. 

Pure Silk. Their raw material comes directly from the country making it – China, world-renowned for producing and selling silk. For our rugs and carpets, we mainly use silk harvested from domestic silkworms (Bombyx mori) as their threads are of good quality, more solid and uniform than wild silkworms’. Thanks to pure silk, our rugs and carpets capture the light into a fascinating sheen. 

Subtle Motifs. Oriental rugs and carpets used to have very – often excessively – rich patterns. As this no longer teams with present-day interior design styles, we have taken that change into account: our rug and carpet patterns and motifs are refined and subtle.
